Better Behavior
Starts With Better
Communication.
E-collar training that establishes a clear, consistent language your dog understands and you can maintain. Board & train programs for everyday manners to complex behavioral issues, with boarding and daycare available for graduates.
Why owners come to OTM
You've tried
everything else.
You've watched YouTube videos, hired a trainer, tried three different collars. Your dog still pulls and still blows past you when something interesting walks by.
Most training falls short because it never teaches the dog the meaning of "no." They listen only when there's a treat in your hand. One squirrel and the whole thing falls apart. That gap is what OTM was built for.
- ✓ Reactive on leash. Lunging, barking, impossible to walk.
- ✓ Won't come when called, even in your own backyard.
- ✓ Jumps, pulls, ignores you when it matters most.
- ✓ Biting, guarding, or aggression you can't manage.
A Better Relationship
"With everything we’ve learned, we can now give him more direction which leads to an overall better dynamic and vibe all around. Other benefits include excellent off leash recall, which has allowed us to do a lot of really fun adventuring."
— Chelsea C, Maurice, Mixed Breed · Behavioral Reset · 28 days
Two Years Later
"Two years later and my dog is still the most well behaved dog in the neighborhood. We are are constantly being stopped to see where my dog was trained and I am extremely proud to say On the Mark. Rachel set us up with such a great foundation that maintaining the training the last few years has been a breeze."
— Alyssa M, Alfie, Golden Retriever · Off-Leash Reliability · 21 days

The Team
Meet Rachel Mark.
Rachel started OTM because she kept seeing the same thing: frustrated owners who had already tried everything, and dogs who just needed someone to give them a clear answer. Some of those dogs have real behavioral issues, but most of them just needed guidance and clarity.
She went full-time with OTM in 2020 and has worked with dogs of every background, temperament, and history since. Across all of them, the e-collar is the tool that made things click. Precise enough to communicate at a distance, reliable enough to hold up when distractions are real and the stakes are high. That's not a sales pitch. That's just what she's seen, dog after dog.
Rachel reads every application personally and gives you an honest answer about whether board and train is the right move for your dog. If she thinks someone else is better positioned to help, she'll tell you that too and point you in the right direction.
Korie Boyle
Assistant Trainer · 3 years with OTM
Korie has worked alongside Rachel throughout her time at OTM. She knows every dog that comes through and is hands-on with every one of them. When your dog is here, they're in the best hands with Korie.
In memory
Rooney Mark.
AKC Rally Novice · 2010–2024
Rooney was Rachel's first dog, her training partner, and the helper dog who showed countless others how to do it. Building this business meant he was there for all of it. Through the early days, the hard lessons, and every dog that came after. He passed away in 2024 but his mark is still on every part of this. The silhouette in the OTM logo is inspired by Rooney.

Balanced training means teaching your dog both "yes" and "no." Most owners are naturally good at the yes part. Treats, praise, and affection make "good" easy to reinforce. The word "no" is different. It only carries weight if it's been paired with a real consequence, and for most dogs, it hasn't been.
That's where the e-collar comes in. Once your dog has learned a command, the e-collar gives us a way to follow through at a distance when they choose not to comply. It's not a correction for trying and failing. It's accountability for a dog who knows what's being asked and ignores it anyway.
-
Your dog will live with us for the duration of their program. Not at a facility, not with a rotating staff. Training happens daily, in real environments without the mixed signals of going home at night. That consistency is what makes the results that last.
-
A lot of facilities let dogs roam freely in large groups with no real oversight. For some dogs that's fine. For most, it creates stress, reinforces bad habits, or makes reactivity worse.
Boarding at OTM is different. Dogs stay in a calm, structured environment with access to outdoor space, and any socialization is based on the individual dog's temperament rather than just throwing everyone together. Pack walks, place work, and structured outdoor time are part of the daily routine.
If your dog is in training, boarding here keeps that momentum going.

You don't have to figure that out before applying. We review every application personally and recommend the right program based on your dog's history, behavior, and your goals.
